Bordeaux Wine Festival, the must-attend wine festival of Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine, returns for over four days of festivities. Discover our region’s incredible wine heritage along a varied sprawl of speciliazed wine stands on the Bordeaux quays, with a rich program of wine tastings and experiences, all paired with local food!
The Largest Wine Festival in France
Every year in June, ‘Bordeaux Fête Le Vin’ takes place along the Bordeaux quays. During this wine festival, visitors and locals can (re)discover the great diversity of Bordeaux wines and its region through a large choice of activities. You’ll find various appellation pavilions where wine professionals share their expertise during multiple wine tastings. The festival also includes a gastronomic village, awaiting all food lovers with local specialties and delights.
It’s a great event to enjoy with friends and family, and you don’t even have to be a wine professional! You’ll learn a lot, try good wines, listen to live music, and eat good food in Bordeaux’s hisotical epicentre of trade along the Garonne river.
To enter the festival, you’ll need a pass. Each pass comes with:
- 11 tastings
- 1 tasting glass and its holder bag
- 1 workshop at the Bordeaux Wine School pavilion
You can get yours here!
The festival is kid-friendly, as long as an adult is willing to be responsible for them.
A Magical Drone Show on Two Evenings
The 2023 edition of Bordeaux Wine Festival introduced a major new feature: a drone ballet performed over two evenings to surprise locals and visitors. Spectators witnessed drones, taking the appearance of wine glasses and wine bottles, which set to music, performed a choreography visible from the Wine Festival site.
This magic spectacle has been seen all around the globe through viral videos on socials and will return for the 2024 edition! We are very excited to see what this year will be about!
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the festival provides a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich heritage and culture of Bordeaux. Don’t miss out on this convivial wine event: mark your calendar and get ready for Bordeaux Fête Le Vin, from June 27 to 30, 2024!
